In addition to being a real estate broker and attorney, I have worked in various positions related to real estate transactions since 1993. I spent over six years working as a foreclosure agent for two of the largest foreclosure service providers in California - T.D. Service Company, and Agency Sales And Posting (a division of Fidelity National Title). After that, I spent over three years in public service as a Deputy Recorder for Solano County, where I examined hundreds of documents and assisted title companies, attorneys, and members of the public in getting their transaction documents into the land records. Immediately prior to being admitted to practice law in California in 2005, I spent nearly two years working on large, national commercial real estate acquisition and financing transactions with LandAmerica Commercial Services (part of LandAmerica Financial Group, a Fortune 500 company) in San Francisco. This work involved title and escrow review, transaction coordination, and closings for multi-site transactions across the country. All of these prior positions have one thing in common: client satisfaction is the first order of business. I continue to strive to provide my clients with superior service.
Since becoming a lawyer in 2005, I have gained extensive commercial leasing experience in my law practice. I have drafted "standard form" leases for landlords, so I understand common landlord issues and motivations in leasing negotiations. Because I only represent tenants in my real estate brokerage, your business can benefit from my experience and insight. As part of our service offerings, my brokerage clients have the option of hiring my law firm to provide lease review and drafting services, with the legal fees paid out of the leasing commission.
